Finished Measurements Approx:

> Adult: 25 ½” – 18”

Gauge:

> 12dc and 6 rows = 4” / 10cm – Always take time to check your gauge

Pattern:

R1. Ch56, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook * Ch2, skip next 2 chains, 5dc in next ch, ch2, skip next 2 chains, 1sc in next ch * Repeat across, turn (9 groups of 5dc)

R2. Ch5 (counts as 1dc, ch2) * Skip next ch2 space, skip next 2dc (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next dc, ch2, skip next ch2 space, 1dc in the top of next sc, ch2 * Repeat across, after the last (1dc, ch1, 1dc) ch2, 1dc in last sc stitch, turn (9 groups of 1dc,ch1,1dc)

R3. Ch1 (does not count as a stitch) 1sc in beg dc * Ch2, skip next ch2 space, 5dc in next ch1 space, ch2, skip next ch2 space, 1sc in the top of next dc * Repeat across, after the last 5dc group, ch2, 1sc in 3rd ch of turning ch, turn (9 groups of 5dc)

R4-R46. Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 46 rows have been completed – Do not fasten off.

Finishing:

Bringing the first and last rows together and lining up the stitches, slip stitch in each stitch to join.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
