Learn this easy Crochet Coaster Pattern to beautify and protect your wooden or glass tables. The flowery edge of the coaster gives it a dainty look and is worked on cotton yarn.

Materials required

Anchor Mercer Cotton Thread No. 40, 15 gms each for 3 pieces
Steel Crochet Hook No: (.95mm) No 7.
Crystals or Beads (Optional)

Instructions

Ch 8, sl st in the 1st st and form a ring.

Row 1: 1 ch, 15 sl in the ring

Row 2: 3 ch, 1 dc, form a cl, *4 ch, leaving 1 st form a cl of 2 dc in the next st* repeat 7 times

Row 3: 3 ch, 2 dc, form a cl, 4 ch, cl of 3 dc in the 1st loop *4 ch cl of 3 dc 4 ch cl of 3 dc in each loop* repeat till end 7 times

Row 4: 3 ch,4 dc in 1st loop *ch 3, 3 dc* repeat till end 7 times.

Row 5: 3 ch, 1 dc in 1st st ,1 dc, ch 2 1 dc, 2 dc in 1 dc below, *3 ch, 2 dc in 1 dc below, 1 dc, 2 ch, 1 dc, 2 dc in 1 dc below* repeat till end, 7 times.

Row 6: 3 ch, 1 dc in the 1st st, 2 dc, 3 ch, 2 dc,2 dc in 1 dc below,*3 ch , 2 dc in 1 dc below, 2 dc, 3 ch, 2 dc, 2 dc in one dc below* repeat till end, 7 times.

Row 7: 3 ch, 1 dc in the 1st st, 3 dc, 5 ch, 3 dc, 2 dc in 1 dc below, *4 ch, 2 dc in 1 1 dc below, 3 dc, 5 ch, 3 dc, 2 dc in 1 dc below* repeat till end 7 times.

Row 8: Sl in 5 st, 3 st, 9 dc in the loop of 5 st, 5 ch, 1 st in the loop of 4 *5 ch, 10 dc in the loop of 5 st, 5 ch* repeat till the end, 7 times.

Row 9: 5 ch, *1 dc, 2 ch,* repeat 8 times, *3 ch, sl in the loop below, 3 ch 1 d, 1 ch (9 times)* repeat till end 7 times.

Row 10: Cl of 3 ch, 2 dc, *3 ch, Cl of 3 dc* repeat 8 times, *1 ch, Cl of 3 dc, 3 ch (9 times)* repeat till end 7 times

Fasten off the yarn!

You can add beads or crystals at the edging of the coaster to enhance the look.
