- First 5 rows = 4 inches (10cm)
Pattern
** Holding 3 strands of worsted weight yarn together **
R1. Ch24, 2dc in 3rd ch from hook * Skip next 2 chains, work (1sc, 2dc) in next ch * Repeat across ending with 1sc in last ch, turn
R2. Ch2, 2dc in first sc, work (1sc, 2dc) in each sc across skipping all dc stitches ending with 1sc in top of ch2, turn
R3-R37. Repeat row 2 (or until cowl measures 27 inches)
Fasten off and weave in ends. Fold cowl in half and secure button to top of corners of cowl to join (see picture)
Weave in ends.
